What kinds of questions can I expect at an interview with liberal art colleges?
Obviously the ‘why this school’ questions, but what else?

Questions will be designed to glean information about you. So they will be asking questions that can’t be answered in one word. More whys and whats. Why did you choose this major, why are you intrigued by astronomy, why do you dance, why football? They will be looking for your motivation, your passion and your insight.
Also be prepared for the 2 biggies… what are your personal strengths, what are your personal weaknesses. Be sure that you have something to say for both, and don’t make your weakness a character flaw (sometimes I swipe gum at the drug store). It should be something that you are working on and something that can be fixed (sometimes I focus too much on being perfect, or sometimes my expectations are too high when I work in a group).
