“Pulli” is an adjective referring to a state of mind achieved sometimes by men when they suddenly feel compelled to masturbate themselves.e.g. “Hey, I am starting to feel a bit pulli.”
“Snark” is also an adjective, describing a shark which appears to have a grudge against you for some reason. i.e. a narky shark.

I think you do mean “Snark” which was an imaginary creature devised by Lewis Carrol for his poem “The Hunting of the Snark”. As to whether it was a a bird, a mammal or any thing else I doubt if LC knew either.
