What is the educational background of Jesus besides Joseph teaching Him things about carpentry?

I know Joseph taught Jesus things about carpentry, but how else was Jesus educated?

I need reasons like he went to school, not that He was the son of God so he already knew everything.

If he did go to school, what school was it?

What was the type of education during the time of Jesus? As in not Jesus’ education… the education in general during His time.

the education at the time Jesus lived was very trade focused. a peasants son would never find him self a high society tutor. so Jesus was not educated in general knowledge. although in alot of ways if you are a smart person you can infer quite a bit of general knowledge and use that as your basics. I’m sure he had to know some carpentry level math, and philosophy is just deep thoughts so i’m sure he was prity good at that. but he was a simple man and a carpenters son so he didn’t really get an education.

Religious figures are always hard to pin down due to the desire to balance (or dominate with one or the other) the mind of faith and the mind of raw historical data.

In the case of knowing the early life of Christ, this is further compounded by the fact that many groups and sects have sought to make their own reinventions (with little to no historical evidence for their interpretations) and the fact that there IS little to no historical references for the early life of Christ. Most of it is extrapolation and attempts at using historical information on OTHER major figures of the time and the various earlier tales of Christ to try and ‘gather together’ a picture.

If we are to believe that the parents of Christ were devout religious people of their time, it goes to follow that their child upon the age of ten would begin to recieve general religious/social-structure form of education from a priest, in this case one modeled from an early Abrahamic religion, as Christianity itself had naturally not yet developed.

It is mentioned in the New Testament that Christ showed a unique and astounding understanding that dazzled such priests, and it is no doubt here where his true indoctrination into the world of religion and teaching began.

The ‘school’ as you understand it in the modern sense didn’t exist, but was more a quasi-religious and society-building/foundation forming event that was tied deeply to the community. A better resource for such inquery might be books like “Brother Jesus: The Nazarene Through Jewish Eyes” or text that focus on early religious communities of Christs time and the pre-Christian era.

Jesus already had the knowledge in carpentry, He is God. He created the wood to do so. He was here in the beginning before we were, so why would He have to be taught? God doesn’t have to be taught anything, He already knows all things. You are looking at Him in the flesh realm as you would see any other human being..
