Case management is something done by ‘social workers’ or people trained to ‘help people’ get through the ‘system’ to get all the ‘good help’ they may need to live in ‘improved circumstances’ … some are ‘voluntary’ and others are ‘sentenced’ by a court of law.
Critical pathways is a ‘sort-of’ science that uses ‘case management’ principles … if you wanted to find a place to live, I might offer you five different ‘places’ you could go … which one you choose would then ‘cut off’ the other pathways … and a ‘critical pathway’ is one that is either ‘totally successful’ or ‘totally unsuccessful’ … although one that starts out ‘totally unsuccessful’ can be ‘helped’ into a ‘successful’ path if the case manager is any ‘good’ at case management.
