What is the best way to write a conclusion paragraph for an essay?

My English teacher always said the point of a conclusion is not to summarize your essay, but to prove why it matters. The most detrimental thing a reader can say after reading your essay is “So what?”

The conclusion paragraph should just sum up what you wrote about in the essay. I always just restate the topic sentende and sum up what I said about the topic in the other paragraphs. Closing out with an original thought usually scores well with the teacher.

The best way to conclude an essay is paraphrasing the introduction. first , you have reword the LAST point having been mentioned in your introduction paragraph and then try to reword all points conversely to their arrangements in your introduction part.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT USE THE EXACT WORDS HAVING BEEN MENTIONED BEFORE. TRY TO LOOK AT THOSE POINTS FROM OTHER ANGLES!

Calling it a conclusion paragraph is confusing you. It’s an ending paragraph, and its structure, form, and content will vary with the purpose of the essay. I suspect that part of your problem is that since you are writing this as an assignment, you are not writing from a place of conviction or passion. If that’s true, your problem is that you don’t really have anything you want to express–you just want to get a decent grade. That’s okay if you are not trying to learn to write well, but if you are, you need to re-read your essay and look at how it flows. If you really have nothing left to say, the last paragraph that you wrote before the spot that you have reserved for your “conclusion paragraph” may be your ending paragraph.
