The laws in most counties in the state of Michigan require minors to attend school untill they have reached the age of 18 yrs. There are however ways to petition the courts to be emancipated from being a minor. This type of ruling would exempt you from all laws governing Minors and would treat you from that time forward as an adult. 17 is the legal age to drop out. But why would you want to quit without finishing? You’ll regret it big time! If your even close to 17, youmight want to rethink this. You only have a year or 2 left till it’s over with!!
