Specialization is doing particular tasks rather than doing all job by oneself.
Division of labour is dividing an operation into many small task to be performed by specailised labour and machines.

Durkheim believed that in a world with advancing technology division of labor would become more common as a technique to deskill workers. Basically it means taking a profession or trade, like a shoemaker and having several different people construct a part of a shoe, as opposed to one craftsman making one entire shoe. It reduces their knowledge of the product and makes them more despensible because they can be paid less with less education. A example of this today would be someone on an assembly line.
