i thinking you mean check or direct deposit……….ie…a physical check, or money electronically deposited into an account

cheque = $$ drawn fr your own account. u pay for something or someone with a cheque [check]
DD is demand draft – u go to bank, ask to buy a dd – they give a form to fill – they deduct $$ fr your account or u pay by cash – then they issue a draft which has become a cheque now. it is usu in diff currency. u take and post it to your xxx in usa. xxx will take it and go to xxx bank and deposit into xxx account.
this may differ fr country to country
