DOA is a medical term for Dead on Arrival…it is when a patient is being medically treated via cpr or any other means necessary and upon arriving at the hospital or the patient is under medical care and the vitals are checked with no response. The patient is pronounced dead. DOA, or dead on arrival, is also used as a slang, for example a food (chocolate covered ants)…marketing idea could be “DOA”…as a joke…..
