I would consider the act of providing knowledge to students in a variety of different mediums teaching. Teaching can be done by anyone, anywhere, and can be consistant of good and bad knowledge.
Teaching is continously happening at every moment of the day whether anyone realizes it or not.

I consider teaching to be the passing of knowledge and nothing more. The thing I look for in the pupil, when trying to teach, is the spark in their eyes when something has sunk in. I love to see that. 🙂
