what is better a double major or 2 bachelors degrees?

Two bachelor degree’s are when you graduate with one degree and then pursue a separate degree. You’ll have two sepapate degree papers that each state their respective major.
Of the two, if you’re absolutely sure you’ll end up wanting to study two subjects, I would highly recommend going the double major route. The main reason for this is the flexibility it offers of being able to pick and choose classes each semester for whichever major you want. Say for example the classes for the first major become very inconvenient schedule-wise, well you can go ahead and pick a class for the second major and allocate it for that, and vice versa. That way you don’t end up with a semester with a few classes because of the scheduling.
The ONLY drawback with a double major is that should you decide sometime in the future that you want to switch your status to a single major, then the classes from the second major will end up as electives and surplus classes for your first major, essentially becoming worthless.
Hope this helps.
