It sounds like haiku. Is that what you mean? If so, it’s a type of poem. There are three lines with the first being 5 syllables long, the second being 7 syllables long, and the third being 5 syllables long.

Do you mean Haiku? It is a poem which originated in Japan. It is usually about nature and has 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second 7 syllables and the last line 5 syllables. A Haiku doesn’t rhyme.

For example:

The tender rose bends

dripping its dew to the ground

Falling like my tears

Haiku is a Japanese poetry form. It consists of three phrases, each one expressing a related thought: five syllables in the first phrase, seven in the second, and five in the third.

Haiku written in English puts each phrase on a separate line, tends to ignore the “related thought” rule, and even monkeys with the number of syllables.

A couple of examples

First snow, then silence.

This thousand dollar monitor dies

So beautifully.

Litter box not here.

You must have moved it again.

I’ll poop in the sink.
