What is a good ambition to have.?

I agree with Mikail, but this is a really tough question to give a simple answer to (apologies if I get too philosophical) because, in reality, the only one that can answer that question is you. What are your core values? What makes you happy? Do you want to be someone who does something to help mankind or your fellow citizens? Are you out to make a million and have material wealth?

Some people only have the ambition to work retail or fast food, and become a store manager or business owner. For them, it’s what makes them happy, so it’s a good ambition.

Based on your question, you don’t strike me as being very old (or maybe you’re soul searching). So, my advice, is to research several different careers (the unemployment office/ office of reeducation and training may be a good place to go for help), go out and get a job in that field. When it becomes a chore and is no longer fun, get a job in your next field of choice, and so on until you find something you enjoy (keep in mind that you will be working in your chosen career path for at least 20 years–pick something that’s fun and makes you happy).
