What grade is a sixth former? fifth former? etc?
What does it mean if a students’s grade is listed as “sixth former”? Also, fifth, forth, third, etc?
I think this might be British or something, but the school is a New England prep school. Thanks!

It is British as far as I know. The term is Form. First Form is the US 7th grade. If you are a student in the 1st Form you might be called a first former but we always called them “plebs”
