Get them both as high as you can, of course.

But to get into a college? Some community colleges have open admissions and don’t require ACTs.

Well generally colleges are different. You won’t need the same GPA to get into Yale as you would to get into a technical college. And different colleges will either want you to take the ACT or the SAT. Generally colleges in the Midwest want the ACT, but if you’re going out further you will have to research it. Generally colleges here like you to have at least a 2.5-2.8 to either be accepted or to stay in a certain program. But sometimes the program requirements are different from the University requirements.

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to go to a 4 year university, but you’ve got to remember to have fun too.

hey.. what you need depends on where you would like to go.. of course an Ivy league school such as Harvard or Yale you would need a 4.0 avg. and i would say 30 or better on the ACT.. not to sure on that one b/c i took the SAT’s as well as stunning recommendations from teachers and alot of clubs .. volunteer work doesn’t hurt either.. not to mention a hell of ya admission essay.( most schools want one of these). You can always look on line at each schools admission requirements.. your schools guidance counselor should be a great help with this.. it is their jobs.. best thing is to go to them.. they should have not only info but actual admission applications.. good luck!

ACT scores over 18 100%

ACT scores over 24 91%,

ACT scores over 30 26%

18+ if you have between 24 and 30 you are probably looking much better.
