Usually it means “mind your own business.” They don’t want to tell you what they are really going to do. Some men say it when they are going to use the bathroom, but it can be used for anything they don’t want to tell.

Either that’. or I’m going to see “a“ MAN about a DOG lol “?” I’ve heard that everysince I was a kid !! lol & being told that as`MANY times as I’ve heard it in my younger years !!?!! lol or it could be taken sort`of; as: or like; oh WOW a dog!?! lol LETS GOoo B`U’h’ dee !! so it may not even matter to mostly kids !! They are going along for the ride !! lol.. possibly not letting your child know you are taking them to the doctor to get some shot lol “R”rrrr r r…or if someone ask where you’re going.. just say that if you do’nt want them to know lol

that’s odd…i’m irish and here we say seeing a man about a dog!
