What do you think?

I just finished applying to a school that requires me to have a 2.5 gpa.. but.. i really have a 2.0 gpa and 9 credits at my second school and a .40 average and 1 credit at my first school. Since I applied for Theather and not nursing.. or business do you think my chances at this school will be positive? or they might just deny me? Help please. I know I did bad my first semester but I think I did superior my second I showed great improvement. going from a .40 to a 2.0 I just want a chance.. to get better and to be a great student.

I guess you will probably be rejected. But you can go to a community college and then transfer.

It matters, you shouldn’t switch schools because it can be rumored that its easier than another school. If you want to go to the Business school you should have some interest in the field. You should also have an average or good knowledge in math. I believe all Business classes require a Math Class. You should also start changing your studying habits so you can redeem for your horrendous frosh year gpa.(not to be mean w/ the word horrendous)

yes, this matters. Chances are they will no longer accept you. Poor grades like the ones you earned indicate to colleges that you don’t take your work seriously. It also gives the impression that you do not produce quality work or put forth the effort necessary to keep up with a rigorous curriculum, no matter what your major is.

Once the school determines that you don’t meet their application requirements, they will reject you.
