it’s kinda like “the hardest things to let go of , are those you never had” but it implies that you have to have someone in order to not miss them. And i don’t agree. You can miss someone right next to you, if you aren’t able to connect. And you can own/have someone and still miss them when they are right there. Or to desire someone who is right there but never looks your way because they are too busy looking elsewhere is crushing
