what do you think about early college high schools?
well im asking because im going to one
and well im kinda nervous because
what if i cant get the career i want because i went to that school
i want to be a graphic designer
is it worth it?
and if you have gone to one or going to one what was your experience

Well it really depends on how your are. If you are very social and very into sports, then it isnt really for you. Some of the clubs will be limited and there will be lots of competetion because it is way smaller and everyone in there is like you…very focused and college bound. I know many people that go to an early college high school and they are the cream of the crop; best of the best…their standardized test scores are the highest among our county. It is not a bad idea, but for me…being around a regular high school is a good experience overall. I like going to sports games and doing all the other fun things. I also get to see that there are people who lacks lots of motivation to do better. If you made it through the interview and the whole selective process, then it is better off to do what you want to. It is worth it on one end; at least you will have your AA done and your status at a 4 year university is different than the rest and you did not have to pay a single cent on the tuition, but also get to walk out with an AA. On another end, regular HS is better because you get to see the differences if you are on one end of the spectrum and get involved with the other end of the spectrum. like college-bound kids mixing with the straight F students.
All types of high schools have their own advantages, but I cannot really tell you what to pick. All i know is that the people that go to the early HS will be around peers who have the same goals which will make things positive for you.
