What do you do in order to memorize new words?
I need to study for the Israeli SAT test, in here you need to memorize 3000 words in Hebrew (a normal Hebrew-speaker man knows 1000 out of these words).
How can you memorize new words (and their meaning) and keep it in your head.
P.S: My problem is that I know that this word EXISTS and I heard it once, but I don’t know what it means.

Well, I have advised my son, on the old well tried way of memorizing words – write them down for a few times and you will remember, not 100% but it helps.
Remember, when someone give you a phone number, you wrote it down and you still remember it!

You have to take each letter of the word u want 2 memorize and relate it to the meaning of the word. For example, crib would be Cuddly
Robust
Infant
Bed
If that doesn’t work for you, try memorizing
10 to 20 words each day that basically fall within the same category and use it in your daily language until it becomes second nature.
