What characteristics are needed to get into Cornell.?
Hi, going to Cornell is a dream of mine, and even though i’m entering my sophmore year in high school, I want to make sure i have a really good chance of getting in. One thing in our school is that we have no class rankings, due to the curriculum, so the best I can do with grades is just get as close to a 4.0 (none of the grades are weighted). So what else should I do?

Work hard on making your SATs as high as possible, and get involved in some extra-curricular activities that you enjoy.
Also, check Cornell’s website to see if there are any high school courses they prefer you to take (like 3-4 years of a foreign language, etc.)
