There will be all types of students. From special needs to regular. An equal mix would make the best environment for the students.

I would say no less than 2 adults and no more than half the class needing special education services. Ideally it would be maybe 5 of the 20ish students needing services with either 2 teachers or a teacher and an aide.

Special needs students should not have severe behaviors-they tend to set the tone for the others. Children with physical disabilities who are able to negotiate the room, ADD kids who need structure, and kids who need speech/language services. Higher functioning autistic kids would fit in as well.

My guess would be all types of ethnicity but most importantly are concerned parents or grandparents who want to start their child(ren) in a good educational environment.
