What are some of the physical limitations for someone that is deaf or hard of hearing?

well, to myself, I am deaf. I believe that there is nothing relate physical limitations for them. they are normal like hearing people. But some people feel they have physical limitation is communicate. It is hard for them to understand each other like myself..
