What are some good Universities for Economics?
I have a great GPA and decent SAT score… anyone know from experience or otherwise which colleges’ economics programs are good ?

I would have to say that a top university in the U.S. for economics would be University of Chicago. If you’re familiar with the term “There is no such thing as a free lunch”, you should know that the guy who coined the famous term was from UChicago. The faculty is full of nobel prize winners as well. Stephen Levitt, famous for Freakonomics, first published his controversial studies in the University of Chicago periodicals.
Brown University has a great economics department as well. If you want business, try Wharton in the University of Pennsylvania. If you’re not that interested in business, then you can pursue the economics degree in the University of Pennsylvania as well.
Duke, Georgetown, and University of Virginia are really great choices. University of Michigan – Ann Arbon is a great choice as well.
