What are some fun things to do with 12 year olds at summer school?

I didn’t think summer school was supposed to be fun….. I’d give them rewards for working well and lots of encouragement

It sounds to me like the kid is in summer school for a reason and should not have any fun this summer because education is more important than anything (besides family). I apologize if I am wrong about your situation, however if your kid did not do well in school and has to go to summer school, then there should be no special rewards. He/She is makeing up the work he/she should have done earlier in the school year. Good Luck.

If you are a teacher, the best thing you can do is to figgure out why the kids did poorly to begin with, and work on new projects that can be fun based on their disabilities.

well im a tweleve year old so i should know, that if they are a girl try to get them to enjoy the lesson by putting fashion into it. like you teaching them to multiply use fake nails to do it and give it to them at the end of the lesson, and if they are boys give them tickets to watch spiderman in theaters if they reealy good

hang them upside down by their ankles and beat them like pinatas?

Oh, you could teach them about other cultures by using celebrations/holidays and stuff . .. like using an actual pinata (rather than a child you fed a bunch of candy).

I’m 24 and I still like pinatas — they’re always great!
