What are good books for the ACT?
I would like to buy a good book to study the ACT but not with an outrageous pricetag. any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Check out your local library’s interlibrary loan operation. This is where they borrow a book from another library if they don’t have it. You don’t have to BUY anything!
Anyways, Kaplan, Princeton review, and Collegeboard are the best brand name books available. Check them out on amazon.

I got a 34 on the ACT using the Kaplan book. The practice tests were really similar to the actual test.

Try the Real ACT Prep Guide, which is published by the ACT test makers. The practice tests in there were all previously administered ACTs.
