“We will be swept up and away” what does it mean?

My first instinct was to grimace.
In ordinary conversation, you may only use this sentence to explain a passionate rendition of any of the arts, most specifically music.
Then again, maybe in a hundred people , only one or two will feel like being “swept away”
The next appropriate occurence where you can use this exact sentence will be a description of a tsunami.

4. A Man in Germany was the first one to actually fly in the 1870’s with a wing construction. The Wright brothers used his concepts for their development. They found out too, that you need to start in the wind and a nice gust helps, being swept away.
