Which event in the book stands out to you as the most powerful? Why did you connect with this episode? What happened in the event and how did Melba react to it? How would you have reacted to it?

Remember the part where she almost got blinded and Danny kept washing her eyes? I would have freaked out, but it connected with me because I feel safe at my school, unlike Melba.
Is this for a summer reading assignment?
