tips on getting into pharmacy?
I’m thinking of becoming a pharmacist, though I am a CS student.

Go to a pharmacy school’s website and look up their required courses. THere’s a list of courses they want you to take before they’ll consider admitting you. Take those. Do the best you can on them. Then, work on your interview skills in the meantime.
They don’t care what major you are (many don’t even care if you get your degree or not) as long as you finish their list of required courses.

One thing that pharmacy school looks at is your grades in Organic Chemistry. If you do well (B+ or better) in Organic Chemistry, you’re a shoe-in. Even if you have to take O.C. at a community college, do it to assure yourself a high grade. They place a lot of weight on that class, and of course other science courses like Anatomy and Biology. The key though is to succeed in O.C. I know 1st hand b/c my undergrad roomie was a pharmacy student.
