I was woundering if this is a good thesis statement. The subject of the paper is “Are you for or against needle exchange program”. The thesis is “with the recent rise of aids with needles, Americans should outlaw the needle exchange program which could couse many problems like encourage drug use, law enforcement problems, and community problems. “

To start with, you’ll have a very difficult time supporting your statement as most statistics show the exchange programs help to reduce AIDS (that’s the whole purpose) & help to address the general issues you outlined. Additionally, it’s too general – what are “community problems” and “law enforcement problems”? I’d pick something more defensible because your arguements will be weak with this position…good luck
