New Years day party, If her birthday was 12/30/2006 and this party is on the 01/01/2007 then on 12/30/2008 the following year she whould be 16.

If the question actually reads “on my next birthday I will be 16” There birthday is February 29. That means they only have a birthday every 4 years.
