the word have?
when you say ” do you have a guy you like?”,does it mean is there a guy you like? or,,you have the guy?

according to the dictionary, ur right on both counts. To have could mean to own, posess, be yours…it also means to have in mind….so it could mean “yeah its my guy, and i like him, so step the **** away”, or it could mean “there is a guy i like “…i think the way u asked it, its the second answer

Both. It means: are you currently dating a guy (the “do you have” part) AND do you like him (the “you like” part).
