Thank you to all who answered my question about AIU?
I was thinking about going to AIU and had an admisson advisor call me and do an telephone interview. The she said I should go online and fill out an appilcation and so I did but they want $50 for an appilication fee my #@@. I am disabled but after doing research and reading about the truth about aiu and finding out that they are on proahabition $%^& that noise. I appiled at a commuinty college when I was 19 and I don’t remember them asking for money for an appilication process. Plus I went on there and wanted to see the rules and there catolog I can’t get on there because there Addobe or PDF is not working I told my advisor that I can’t afford to pay for the appilication because I’m moving at the end of next month and you know what she said can you borrow it from someone. What a load of !@#$. Was I right not to give fifty bucks up or am I smarter not to fall for a scam you decide. And if so I would rather use my ticket to work from Social Sercurty aleats I know thats legit.

You were wise to decide not to apply to AIU. Their accreditation is currently suspended, which means degrees from AIU will not be seen positively by employers or by any academic institution.
You must be extremely careful with online education. The most reputable programs are “distance education” programs offered by REAL colleges and universities, like Pennsylvania State University, University of Maryland, etc.
