“Takes a building”?
Does this sentence make sense? Could you explain the meaning for me? Thanks!
This is a song that sometimes takes a building(or “takes building”) in a manner which our forefathers were very used to.

erm, no, doesn’t make much sense to me… you definitely do not mean constructed either cause that also doesn’t make sense… did you mean that the song could motivate you to build up your character according to your country’s forefathers’ character? if so, perhaps you should rephrase your sentence as follows:
this song could positively help one to improve his character to the respected character of his forefathers’.
erm, i’m sorry if i analyzed wrongly, but it’s certainly what i deduce from your question 😀 hope it helped, though…

Robert Plant is quoting something he s likely read during the backstage scene in “The Song Remains the Same”.

i think that… what Robert Plant is trying to say is that everybody (in the building) can feel they way their forefathers used to feel when they were together on a concert. So, it is like going back on time.

it is used in Computer Technology:
Taking a BUILDING Block Approach (IBM)
Taking A Building Brick Approach by H.P.
That’s all there to it!

No. Makes no sense to me.
Try ‘is constructed’ instead.
