Summer classes?

I’m just wondering how people can fit like 10 APs into their school schedule added on to all the other classes. Do you take summer courses and skip them to do APs in school?

How does this work?

Thanks. I appreciate your time.

Some people self-study. AP Mus. Theory is a big one for that, since some people take theory classes anyway at their music school.

Some schools have block scheduling, which somehow allows for a few more classes.

Some schools let you start taking APs earlier–all AP’s are (de facto) off-limits to sophomores and freshman, except maybe for BC Calc.

Some schools don’t require that you take an introductory course before the AP (for example, Chem I before AP Chem). There might be others that let you take the prerequisites in the summer–at my school, summer classes are strictly for people who flunked out, except for the math ones.
