state symbols are included in brackets, what do the following letters stand for (s,l,g,ag)?
in science im working throught my booklet and got stuck on this question about state symbols.

(s) = solid
(l) = liquid
(g) = gas
and I assume you mean (aq), not (ag)…
(aq) = aqueous

I would guess that you’re referring to solid, liquid, and gas. I am unfamiliar with Ag, other that being the symbol for silver.
