Yes she should be stripped of her valedictorian, that will teach her that she needs to think before she acts and that all her decisions have a consequence.

No. The school’s reaction was excessive, inappropriate, and totally unjustifiable. Valedictorian status is awarded for academic excellence, and didoes such as cavorting in the shower have nothing to do with her scholarship skills. Indeed, there is no good reason why the school should have done anything at all.

A valedictorian should be someone that everyone can look up to and say, “Man, I wish I had brains like her.” For a valedictorian to jump into a shower full of men is not using your brain at all.

Valedictorian is only about grades not moral character. She should be punished, but it should not affect her status as a valedictorian.

I guess that’s up to the judge now.
