Salary of a firefighter?
I’m wondering what the basic salary of a full-time firefighter is. A friend of mines son is a fire fighter in CA with an EMT degree also, and makes about 90,000 a year. Whats the basic pay of a firefighter? Does the EMT degree give you a huge boost in pay?

Now that is not an experienced firefighter with an EMT, that of course makes a firefighter more valuable. Looking at just adding an Associate’s Degree firefighters can make 10% more. Education, certifications and experience are the key to receiving high firefighter salaries.
