Research For My Novel?
Is it possible to be knocked out for several DAYS? This is very important for me to know…my research has been frustratingly useless. DO NOT ANSWER UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE! I don’t want inaccurate research in my novel.

A severe enough blow has caused the victim to enter a coma. As you probably know returning from a comatose state is very iffy. Hours, days, weeks and I saw recently where someone woke up after 18 years.
As far as a single punch delivered in a fight, I doubt it but if you were knocked down and struck your head I would say it is possible.
I had to learn a lot to be certified as a CPR instructor. One thing concerned comas the diabetic type, the traumatic type and even oxygen deprivation. Do some research on comas and I’m sure you can find a case where trauma induced a coma.
