It may be legal, if they don’t meet hiring criteria. It’s moral, if there are conflicts in the workplace which need to be dealt with by someone sensitive to the issues involved. Otherwise, people may be getting hurt (physically, emotionally, or not getting promoted) unnecessarily.

nowadays many orgs are multi-‘nationals’ u get all kinds of pple working. diversity is inevitable. retention of staff is important. so diversity is personnel management at its best. its more a moral obligation. it helps to understand the culture of the person and be sensitive to their needs. at various levels theres bound to be conflicts. managing and placating tempers is crucial for the end purpose of the org – profit
