Clean-as-you-go is probably the best method for keeping track of papers and personal belongings. Don’t just shove stuff in there and leave them. Decide what you need to do with your papers–go through them a minimum of once a week.
As far as keeping or tossing old papers, I generally recommend that you keep them until you have verified your score either on the computer or grade report. Teachers do make mistakes, and I’m always willing to correct mine when students show me their papers.
If you have trouble remembering to take materials home at night, come up with a system. If you have homework, either put the materials that you need in your backpack right away, or have a place in your locker to set those things aside. If you need more shelf space to achieve this, invest in one of those locker shelves you can find in any department store.
that helped me out alot so i could put books on bottom and other stuff on top (notebooks, folders, binders)
but it all depends on how big your locker is. ours was half so it was perfect!
hope i helped.
