talk to a counsler and they will normlly let you sign up without the transcripts but you will be dropped if they don’t get them within a certain amount of time. Make sure you fill out fafsa at www.fafsa.gov.edu and make copies of your taxes. Take that into the financial aid dept ASAP then ask specifically if there are anymore forms you need there. Go to registration and make sure you are a current student and make sure all the paper work is filled out. You still have time if you just take an hour or two out of your day and get it done. Call the school and ask to talk to a counsler ASAP to make an appointment or maybe they can help you over the phone. Also look at the school online and pick your classes that you want and their reference # so that you are prepared when they ask you which classes you want to take because some of them may or may not need prereqs which is the only reason why you would need your transcripts… get offline and go make a few calls!

This depends on the school, but alot fo places will let you enroll as a non-matriculated student…meaning you’re not in a program, just taking a couple of classes (bascially all you need usually is money to pay), then once you get your transcripts, you can join a degree program (if that’s what you’re going for).
Also some schools have a two week period at the beginning of the semester where you can “add/drop”. Meaning you can move into a class or out of one without any consequences (other than missing a bit of material – but you can always make that up).
Hope this helps!

are you trying to enroll in a community college or a 4 years school? if its a community college, regaurdless of transcripts you will need to take a placement test. The other thing to do is contact the admissions dept at the schools you want to attend and ask them what the best step would be to do. I’m pretty sure you can enroll, and submit the transcripts to them a little later. Since the transcripts are usually sent directly to the school that you previously attended any way.
