Your major is your field or industry and specialisation (e.g, Computers, Business Management, Architecture). Hence, you get a degree depending on your MAJOR. Minor is based on the curriculum that you are following and how your school laddered your program, This usually depends on the subjects that you are focusing and the school requires you to take. For example, I have a Degree in Computer Science minor in Mathematics, If I opted to take a Degree in mathematics i just need to take several units to have a degree in Mathematics.

No one understands because you need to explain your situation better.

Are you in undergrad or graduate school? It sounds like it could be both since you talk about minors but have the word “graduate”.

I’m going to assume you are in undergraduate. You’re trying to finish and get your bachelors degree. Your major will be what your diploma has listed. Say you’re a Psychology major. When you graduate, you’ll have a Bachelor (either in Arts or Science, depends on the school) of Psychology. This means you have a degree in Psychology. A bachelors degree.

If you have a minor as well, you don’t get a bachelors degree in it. Your diploma might have a notation saying you have a minor in whatever as well. However, you don’t have a full bachelors degree in it.

You will get degree on your course. You won’t get degree neither in major nor minor.

I guess you are talking about MBA. In MBA major specifies your area of specialization and minor is like a small project or assignment.

Typically you’re either achieving for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a particular degree.

Back in the day, a BA indicated the degree alone, and a BS indicated you completed a short thesis to earn the “science” portion of the degree.

Those times are long gone and the degrees are equivalent in status.

Didn’t you learn that from your undergraduate degree? You’d typically get a Master of Arts, Master of Science, MBA, etc. The major isn’t necessarily on the degree and the minor never is.

…normally, you will be “degreed” for your Major…but I’d ask your College for clarification if you need to……
