Ph. D in History and Philosophy of Science?
I’m a senior math student and soon i will apply gradaute programs. In the university i took two related classes and had good grades. And i am really interested in history and philosophy of science. As well as mathematics, I have an idea of applying some programs in this area but i want to hear from someone,who is familiar with the topic, about this program.

Make sure that you are specific in your cover letter when you apply to these programs. If the admissions committee sees that your interests are not focused, they may bypass you. If you go into the history of science program you will spend most of your time reading monographs and writing papers. Your cover letter should not have one single grammatical error.
