paraphrase this quote from Patrick Henry?

this quote is saying that liberty cannot be bought at the expense of others. Patrick Henry wanted freedom without the suffering ; he felt it was better to die than cause others hardship or harm.

To me, it means that our lives our nothing if we don’t have the freedom do what we want with them.
Patrick Henry understood this, and he knew that death would be a better fate than living his life out without the freedom we all deserve.
