need help wit loans for college?
heres the story i got into trouble wit my father bc he JUST NOTICED i got a tattoo(got it back in October) and he flipped out on me and is refusing to help me wit college i filled out a fafsa form and got BARELY any money does n e one kno of loans tht have a low interest rate

Hmm…I would talk with the college you are planning to attend, and find out if there are any scholarships available within the department you are majoring in (i.e. maybe as an English major, the dept. gives out scholarships to English students).
I would let them know that you really do not have financial support from family, but if you are [age-wise] still considered a dependent, you will not be able to get financial aid as an independent student (I think FAFSA cuts it off at age 24 or 25). But even by talking with your financial aid office, they may be able to refer you to some scholarships. Also, maybe you can find a part time job????
Otherwise, you might have to try working with a bank and get a personal school loan.

without getting in too much of your business, I am surprised that you barley got money. I just finished school ( Associates, Bachelor, and Master’s) and I always got way more than I needed. So with that said my question back to you is did you fill out Fafsa under his tax ( father) returns or as a single person. That could make a huge difference. I am sorry that he got so angry about the tattoo. I do not know of any loans that are low interest, lower than Fafsa> go on line and put in scholarships and thousands come up. good luck, sorry I wasn’t much help!
