Those things are decided by a combination of attitude and grades. But a guidance councelor is supposed to help you, not put you down

She didn’t know that, and you shouldn’t believe her either. Work hard to prove her wrong. Read ” The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens” a great book by Sean Covey. It’s fun to read and useful.

It was unprofessional and unethical of her to made a comment like that. Her comment clearly shows that she amounts to nothing as a councilor. Unfortunately, very often in life you will have to deal with people like that. Don’t ever let them or anyone else to define you.

they don’t know that. It is their lame way of trying to get you motivated. I had a teacher tell me to drop out of high school because i was a girl and would end up married with kids anyway. This was my junior year of high school. They don’t know. They judge without cause insead of trying to encourage the right way and lead you down the right path to education.

Who knows. Could be your GPA, attitude or combination of both however she is assuming. Don’t believe what she said. Believe in yourself and prove her wrong!

Maybe it’s your GPA or maybe you have an attitude problem. Just study harder in school to get better grade to prove her wrong.

That is a mean thing for anyone to say. Do NOT let it phase you. We are what we strive to become and even if we don’t make all our goals we are fine. Just have a goal and aim high, your couselor was wrong to tell you that! How mean!!!!!!!!!
