Well, people would probably say, oh just skim and higlight key words. Some people would say, if theres questions after each section, memorize and answer those questions.

I say, DON’T memorize, just READ IT! People memorizing, doesn’t really help you prepare for an a exam especially one that has questions that are asked concepually. If your teacher gives out questions like Fill in the blank, or vocab questions then ignore the rest, becuase what im going to tell you will help solve those tough AA degree college level exams.

To maximize your knowledge, you’ll have to read it, absorb it within the least amount of time. Memorizing will only help you memorize words only words, but won’t help you fully understand the sections your teacher will test you on. How can you absorb everything you have read, word for word, and within the least amount of time? What I found out was:

The EyeQ program

I’m pretty sure u have a p2p program that downloads music like limewire, or edonkey, or bearshare, etc. Instead of downloading music, download a program called, eyeQ.

The program isn’t free. it cost money (like 200!!!) but you can illegally download it for free. (like downloading a long long song. No no no, download it, everyone downloads music, download this program as well.)

Its a speed reading computer program that helps you read soooo fast and and helps u maintain the information fresh in your mind. The interface looks like a fisherprice kid program so it won’t bore you out. lawl, I feel like an salesperson. The tools and drills will keep you occupied and working. A drill can last only 7 minutes of your day. Specifically, it will display reading txt from a random book for you to follow, like reading captions from the TV. then it will display objects/pictures in the screen which will move around (it helps strengthens your eye movement and muscles). Then it will repeat the process, this time, in a very slow manner so you can read everything. In the 3rd time, the computer will go SUPER DE DUPER fast. words are displayed in split seconds. Words are flying everywhere. the screen wil look like a very fast screensaver

Whats good about this program is their pace setup. First they go medium fast, then very slow, then SUPER DE DUPER fast. in that formation, the slow part will be very easy to read and the SUPER DE DUPER fast part will overwhelm you as much as challenge your brain.

When people read silently they read as fast as they are talking out loud. mumbling almost, under their breath. this program will help you over come that and read up to 2000 words per minute.

This program has really help me a lot. Right now im in college, getting my Engineering degree. Core classes like, english and art, and communication and govt and hist and all those AA crap aka “I have no idea what im doing” classes which I needed as requirements. Those classes required lots, and lots of reading crap that I didn’t care about. I remember sitting in my communication class, people getting into what their talking about, stuff like “my self esteem and my inner focus” and im like, “wow, all you have to do is memorize key points and 4.0 this biotch” whats surprising is people were struggling with it. Its all in the book. So, what I did, was open up my EyeQ program, maintained a 2000 wpm(words per min) reading speed level. And everyday, it would be me and the teacher discussing about the sections while everyone was like , how do you know all this stuff. See, I didn’t memorized it, I read it, absorb the contents, within couple minutes.

Some bad things about this, this program, yes will make you do all that, but you’ll have to maintain it. And to maintain it, you’ll have to use it every SINGLE DAY. and ALSO read reading material that will last at least 2-3 hours a day. Its summer, im just here wasting my time on Y!A which I could be spending using that program and reading harry potter books but oh well. Another bad things about this program is that it won’t help you get ready for a physics or math or engineering exams. The difference between those classes and AA classes is that you have to solve very difficult problems and think analytically while AA classes are about reading this reading that blah blah blah. So, if your ever going to college, don’t get an AA degree becuase it will screw you over and you’ll be in college your whole life.

So, what are you waiting for? downloading this ish!!

Read the first sentance (as many times as you want). Close your eyes and say it. Check to see if it is correct.

Read the first and second sentance. Close your eyes and say them. Check to see if you’re correct.

Read the first, second, and third sentance. ETC.

If you mess up, you have to start over. Its annoying, and it takes a while, but its a great way to memorize things so that you won’t forget them.

BTW- You don’t have to do it all at once… It can be paragraph by paragraph if you want.

it all depends on the student and their particular strengths/weaknesses.

I knew this one chick that would listen to lectures while asleep in hopes that the info the teacher spewed that day would stick in her subconscious

good luck with your exam

you should read it out loud while writing it down then study it everyday for a few minutes long…..and keep on reviewing it

writing is also a very good method. if you write stuff down several times, it’ll come naturally to you when you recall it.
