Consider buying “What Color Is Your Parachute?” or a similar book to help you figure out what you’d like to do. Here’s info on the book as well as other options:

Regarding what to major in, I’m the wrong person to ask because I was just as confused as you are. However, you can google “what can I do with a math/international studies/liberal arts/physics, etc. degree and you’ll find some helpful information. Also, go to the Bureau of Labor Statistics website for more info on a field you’re interested in. For example, here’s info regarding psychologists:

http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos056.htm

You’ll find the search button on the top right hand corner. Enter a profession to get the info. Also, visit the departments you’re interested in and talk to professors, students, administrative assistants, etc. to get as much information as possible on a major you’re interested in. Good luck, and remember, you don’t have to figure it all out your first year. It makes it easier if you know because you’ll have a much better sense of direction, but keep in mind that many people change their major several times in college and many also enter as something like “university studies” because they too hadn’t figured out what to major in yet. Just keep searching.

If you’re good at Math & Science, Engineering is a quick major to master (B.A. degree only) & makes the most money for the time you put into school. If you like animals, an AA in Vet Tech is a good choice. You can do almost everything a vet does, with only 2-3 years of community college education.
