The best Catholic Universities in the US are Notre Dame, Georgetown, Boston College, Villanova, Holy Cross and Marquette — pretty much in that order.
Note that none of the Loyolas make this list. They aren’t bad schools — in fact they are good schools. They just aren’t great schools — and if you can get into one, you can probably do better. And that applies to all of them — the one in LA, the one in Maryland, the one in Chicago, etc.
